- Simon Stryjak: my colleague whose help with various technical details and hosting issues was crucial early on, and whose help was invaluable when I needed to switch hosting companies.
- Matt Pressnall: gets credit for advising me early on to use “Freewaregenius” rather than “Freewarebot” as the name of my site.
- Nik Papic: our resident SEO guru. He helped me tremendously in the past and is still my #1 resource for all things SEO. He also designed my logo (the orange Freewaregenius bulb). FYI i had a hard time finding software using the search box on your site. for example, i searched for “Faststone Capture” but it didn’t return the relevant page.

Thanks for all your tips and finds. FWG is one of my favorite sites. Of the apps I try, only about one in ten sticks around on my laptop for any significant length of time, but without your recommendations, it’d be more like one in 100 and I’d spend far more time looking for the occasional great find than I do already. Keep up the good work.
